This is Your First Post

This is your blog. Blogs are a great way to connect with your audience and keep them coming back. They can also be a great way to position yourself as an authority in your field. Prepare yourself for an info dump!

To begin with, you should make a post that highlights your history, the history of your team, and your mission statement. Think of this as a way to re-introduce yourself to the world. Any post should be either below 200 words, or about 500. Anywhere in the middle and your viewership tends to drop out.

Yes, I am being a hypocrite. No, I will not continue to add pointless sentences just to worm my way out of potential hypocrisy. I would never. Never ever.

This blog creates a steady stream of content for your various social media accounts (another conversation worth having, when you're ready for it). It also keeps your site consistently fresh and optimized, giving you more opportunities to get new potential customers to your site. A blog about subjects that are related to your site or business is also just a great way to engage with and retain visitors.

Blogging is also really good for SEO, so long as you use the proper industry/product-related keywords within your posts. It’ll make it easier for people to find you on the web.

Given your industry, this blog should serve as a way to position yourself as a charming, eco-friendly company. Pushing the fact that you sell organic has the potential to be a significant boon if handled properly. Kind, calming colors (greens, yellows) should be sprinkled throughout to give your reader a sense of safety.

The rest of the posts from here on out will be examples of types of content you should be producing weekly, if not bi-weekly or even daily. There are so many examples, but we'll pick 5 at random for you.

Below is a picture of a pie. In reality it could be anything, though preferably we would like a picture of your office/warehouse/team for this particular article. I just...like pie. I'm not actually sure if that is a pie.
